Joining a new unit can come with many questions. If you require clarification beyond what is provided in this section, you are encouraged to join our official Discord server and submit a support ticket. A member of our unit staff will respond promptly to assist you.
UNIT SCHEDULE
The unit schedule for NATO Special Operations Forces is as follows:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Prospective candidates for joining NATO Special Operations Forces must meet the following criteria:
- Aged 18 Or Over
- Own a legitimate copy of Arma Reforger for PC or Xbox. NSOF does not currently support crossplay with Playstation due to mod requirements.
- Own a working headset & microphone.
MODS & TECHNICAL SETUP
NSOF utilizes the Reforger Workshop for the distribution and management of all required modifications. This includes both publicly available assets and custom content developed by our dedicated modding team. While members are expected to maintain their own modpacks to ensure operational readiness, technical assistance is available through unit staff as needed.
All NSOF personnel are also required to maintain an active presence in the official unit Discord server, which serves as the primary platform for communication, coordination, and updates.
MULTI-UNIT MEMBERSHIP
While we do not formally prohibit membership in other units, all members are expected to uphold the standards of attendance and participation required by NSOF. Multi-unit membership is permitted where it does not interfere with NSOF operational readiness, scheduled training, or unit activities.
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
All NSOF personnel are required to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75%.
This equates to participation in at least three out of four mandatory events held each month.
Attendance is evaluated on a month-to-month basis, and consistent failure to meet this standard may result in administrative action or reassignment. Operational readiness and unit cohesion depend on your commitment.
TRAINING & ASSESSMENT
Upon successful application to NSOF via our official Discord, all candidates are required to complete a single, comprehensive Assessment and Training Program (ATP), approximately three hours in duration.
This evaluation is designed to ensure tactical cohesion, familiarize candidates with unit procedures, and provide both the candidate and NSOF staff an opportunity to assess readiness for operational deployment. Successful completion of the ATP is a prerequisite for active assignment within the unit.
